Acceptance of Terms of Use

All participants warrant that they have read and fully understand these Terms and Conditions carefully which are on public view at www.mobilinkworld.com
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted online.
In the event of dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions, conduct, results, and all other matters relating to the Game, the decision of the Organizer shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
This Agreement between the Organizer and the participant will remain in full force and effect while Organizer provides the offer (not taking into account temporarily suspensions of the offer for operational reasons, e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades).

Participants of the promotional game:

The following are eligible to participate:
1. Physical persons (other than people employed by the Organizer for the period of the Game, and also their close relatives and spouses), who are Mobilink customers during the period.
2. Legal entities who are Mobilink customers during the period of the Game. Only an authorized signatory on behalf of the legal entity will be entitled to take receipt of the prize.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any provision of the Terms and Conditions.
4. By participating in the Game, entrants hereby warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete.

Availability and accessibility of information and Opt-out mechanism

All the information for the participants of the Game with regards to the Game shall be published on www.mobilinkworld.com as well as available by calling the Mobilink Customer Care number: 111
The Organizer reserves the right not to enter into written negotiations or otherwise contact with the participants other than in accordance with the Terms and Conditions unless required by law.

Regulations of participation:
1. To qualify for the draw of a match, the customer has to send the keyword 'CKT' or 'CN' to 300 at least once during the match. If there are two matches in parallel, the updates about one will be available on 'CKT' and the other one will be available on 'CN'. The customer has to send the appropriate keyword for the match whose draw he/she wants to qualify for. The more times the keyword is sent, the better are the chances of winning.
2. The SMS charges to 300 will be Rs. 2.25+t/sms for prepaid connections and Rs. 3+t/sms for postpaid connections.

Place, date, time and order of the prizes
1. The same subscriber's number (MSISDN) cannot win more than once the same prize during the campaign.
2. The winners (generated via draw mechanism) will be automatically designated.
3. Draws will be conducted at the premises of the Organizer in the presence of Mobilink's Internal Audit Team.
4. Prizes:
  - One winner per match will be selected via a lucky draw.
  - The prizes will be as follows:
    - Cash prize of 50K PKR/match for non-Pakistan matches
    - Cash prize of 75K PKR/match for Pakistan matches
    - Final Match prize will be 250k PKR
  - The winners are notified by Mobilink via phone call to their subscriber number. The winners will receive notice within 90 calendar days from the date of the draw. The name and initials, or name of the organization, as well as the MSISDN of the winners may be announced by newspaper ads, via SMS, TV, radio, website, or any other media to all the participants included in the record or to the general public.
5. Terms of the Prizes:
  1. Prizes will be delivered within 90 working of the lucky draw.
  2. Preliminary registration of prizes will take place at Pakistan, Mobilink offices Monday to Friday from 10:00 till 17:00 within 10 working days upon completion of the campaign.
  3. The winner is liable for payment of due taxes and collections for the cash prizes under any relevant current legislation.
  4. The winners will be contacted by the Organizer. The winners must confirm in writing that they are the legal holder of the Mobilink connection and that they are entitled to the prize and fill all the necessary documents given by the Organizer. All winners must provide identification documents in order to receive the prize. Prizes may be received by a representative of the winner by proxy upon written confirmation from the winner. The Organizer has the right to request identification documents of the representative of the winner.
  5. By participating, the winners agree that any of their data, including but not limited to names, surnames, photos and video images, can be used by Mobilink for advertising purposes with no prior consent of the winner and free of charge.
  6. The Organizer will select up to 9 runner-up winners for the prizes and if the notified winner refuses the prize or fails to appear to collect it within 7 calendar days of notification, then the Organizer will contact one of the relevant runner-up winners and offer him/her the prize. If none of the runner-up winners accept the prize or do not show up within 7 calendar days of notification then the prize will remains the property of the Organizer.
  7. Decisions made by the Organizer will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable.
6. Limitation of liability:
  1. The Organizer accepts no responsibility whatsoever for, including without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure when it is not under its direct control and execution.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to temporarily suspend the Game for operational reasons (e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades), whenever is deemed necessary. The Organizer will try to restore the Game as soon as possible after any temporary suspension period.
  3. The Organizer will deliver the prizes to the winners through winners' nearest Mobilink Customer Care Center.
7. Disclaimer of warranties:
  1. Participants understand and agree that they participate at their own risk and willingness and have not been coerced in any manner to enter.
  2. The Organizer makes no warranty, implied or expressed, that any part will be uninterrupted and error-free.
  3. Neither the Organizer nor any of its directors, employees, agents, dealers, franchisees or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant participating in the promotion or as a result of accepting the prize.
  4. The Organizer is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials.
  5. By entering, participants agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, direct or indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against the Organizer, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, dealers, franchisees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or user of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage.
8. Data protection and Publicity:
  1. Personal data related to voice, image, name or address and any other relevant information will be included in a filing system belonging to the Organizer as data controller, and can be used for taking part in the competition as well as publicity mailing, or other purposes relating to the Organizer's services, or services of other third companies that cooperate with the Organizer, unless otherwise indicated. The participants also consent that any profiling information given or any statistics that may be obtained through the campaign regarding the profiling information can be used from the Organizer and third companies cooperating with the Organizer for reasonable purposes according to the local law.
  2. The Organizer will use such data in a confidential manner and participants could exercise the rights of access, rectification, delete and objection to prior consent for sending publicity through a written communication addressed to the Organizer, via e-mail to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or phoning the number 111 to contact the Organizer's call center.
  3. Participants agree that if they win a prize then their full name and the last 4 digits of their CNIC will be published for informational purposes only.
9. Governing Law:
  1. In case of any disagreement, participants can present their complaint to the Organizer and the issue will be decided in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.
