How To Play

Step 1:

The participant will send “JK” to 5555 or call 5555 to enter the contest. The users can send in any other key words or blank message to 5555. It will be accepted as well.

Step 2:

The participant will receive a Ringtone along with a welcome SMS (ringtone will be sent within 24 hours)

Step 3:

The quiz mechanism consists of multiple choice questions where participants should answer in order to raise the value of the prize money of the specific day, increase their possibilities to become a winner and as well as accumulate points to win the 1st Month,2nd Month and Grand Prize at the end of the campaign.

Step 4:

The participant will send the answer he/she believes is the correct one by sending 1 or 2 to 5555 or by dialing 5555 and pressing 1 or 2 in order to raise the prize value for daily and Sunday prizes and as well as earn points for 1st Month, 2nd Month and Grand prize. Once answered, user is notified if the answer was correct or incorrect. In case the user does not respond with option 1 or 2 or sends any other text/number, he /she will get an invalid reply message.

  2. How do I play?
    It is rather simple:
    1. After you have registered, by sending a SMS with blank keyword to 5555 or by dialing 5555;
    2. You receive Welcome message and information for the campaign;
    3. Then you receive your first question.
    The question has 2 alternative answers: 1 correct and 1 wrong. 

    Each correct or valid answer gives 10 or more points. Wrong is awarded with 5 points and invalid with 5 points. You are requested to answer questions in order to play for bigger daily and weekly prizes for every correct answer AND accumulate points for the Grand draw.
    Since the campaign is skill based, knowledge skill is awarded, so be accurate!

    One participant can win one (1) daily prize, one (1) weekly prize, one (1) monthly prize or the Final Grand Prize but not more than once of the same type.

    2. By dialing or sending an SMS to the short code 5555 (the Short Code), participants sign their complete acceptance and full understanding of these terms and conditions and agree:
      1. to receive SMS communication from the Organizer on their mobile phones relating to the “Jazz SMS Khazana 7” campaign;
      2. to receive SMS communication/advertising offers from the Organizer or from other companies that cooperate with the Organizer during the Promotional Game or after the end of it;

      2. Legal entities who are Mobilink customers during the period of the Game. Only an authorized signatory on behalf of the legal entity will be entitled to take receipt of the prize.
      3. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any provision of the Terms and Conditions.
      4. By participating in the Game, entrants hereby warrant that all information submitted is true, current and complete.
  7. Availability and accessibility of information and Opt-out mechanism
    1. All the information for the participants of the Game with regards to the Game shall be published on www.mobilinkworld.com/khazana7 as well as available by calling the Mobilink Customer Care number: 111
    2. Information about the number of points (participations/chances) scored by the participants during the Game will be sent to the participants in SMS messages automatically after receiving SMS message from the Organizer. In order to know the score each participant can send a SMS with keyword “SCORE” or “SC” to 5555.
    3. Each participant can drop out of the Game and stop receiving any information about the Game by sending an SMS with keyword “STOP” or “ST” to 5555. If after the participant chooses to send a new SMS message to the Short Code, he/she will be again considered as a participant in the Game.
    4. If the Game is terminated the Organizer of the Game will publish in the official resources of the Game www.mobilinkworld.com/khazana7 a message about the termination of the Game.  
    5. Interruption or early termination of the Game shall not release the Organizer from its obligation to give out already awarded prizes and execute all other actions required except for the cases when termination or interruption of the Game was called by actions or events which are not under the Organizer's control.
    6. The Organizer of the Game shall not release personal information about participants of the Game to the third persons unless required to do so by law or to comply with Pakistan government entities and in accordance with the paragraph 13 of the Terms and Conditions.
    7. The Organizer reserves the right not to enter into written negotiations or otherwise contact with the participants of the Game other than in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or in unless required to do by law.
    8. The Organizer reserves the right to make available free short codes throughout the duration of the Promotional Game for any purpose.
  8. Regulations of participation in the game:
    1. To participate in the Game the participant must send SMS to the Short Code 5555 or dial 5555 in order to start participating in the Game; 
    2. Once the participant enters the Game he/she will receive a message with a question and 2 possible answers (one answer is correct and the other wrong). The participant answers the question by sending an SMS with the correct answer (which will be a numerical answer) to the Short Code.
    3. The  charges of 5555 per Min/per SMS is Rs 10PKR+tax. The associated costs of SMS are invoiced through the telephone bill or deducted from the corresponding prepaid card. All messages sent by 5555 to the participants of the Game are free of charge.
    4. For each correct answer to the question the participant receives points, which are added up during the Game. Wrong answers give fewer points than the correct answers. The points for each right answer to the question will be added in two modes :
        1. Basic Mode: In basic mode, the participant receives 10 points for each correct answer and 5 points for the wrong answer. Invalid selection through IVR or SMSs sent to 5555 the participant will receive 5 points;
        2. Bonus Phases: There will be bonus phases where the participants will receive more points than the ones they are eligible to receive in the Basic Mode. In all cases these bonus phases will be communicated to the participants via an SMS. These phases can last from half an hour to one day and will be equally accessible to all participants.
        3. According to the participant's interaction towards the Promotional Game, different incentives with various points' schemes or extra prizes will be promoted via SMS. Promotional SMS teasers will be sent to various players according to availability of technical capacity, stability and generally accepted resting hours of the day.
        4. The Organizer reserves the right to invite the subscribers to register to the Promotional Game for “free” through a free registration short code number and maybe get start up points for “free” (“free registration”). Subscribers will be notified via an SMS.
  9. Place, date, time and order of the prizes
    1. The same subscriber's number (MSISDN) cannot win more than once the same prize during the period of the Game.
    2. The formation of participants’ record for the whole period of the Game will start at 00:00:01 hours on the first day of the Game (15th November,2011) and end at 23:59:59 hours on the last day of the Game (22nd February,2012).
    3. The winners (generated via draw or the top scorer mechanism) will be automatically designated by an electronic system.
    4. Draws will be conducted at the premises of the Organizer in the presence of Mobilink's Internal Audit Team.
    5. Daily Prize:
      • The first daily winner is determined every day via a lucky draw (except for the days of the weekly, monthly and grand prize). Every participant who have sent at least 1 SMS during that day are eligible to enter the draw. Each draw will determine 1 winner.
      • The winner, who is determined every day via a draw as is described below, is eligible to win up to 100,000 PKR. Every SMS a participant sends, awards him a minimum of 5,000 PKR if the answer is correct and 2,500 PKR if the answer is incorrect/invalid. At the end of the day, if he is selected via draw, he will be awarded the equivalent amount to the number of correct and incorrect/invalid SMS he has sent during that day. For example: If the winner, who has been selected by the daily draw, has sent 20 or more SMS throughout that particular day, he/she will be awarded 100,000 PKR.
      • Each participant is awarded with only one participation in the daily draw  irrespective of the amount of SMS he has sent that day (provided he has sent at least one SMS during that day 23:59:59)
      • Winners cannot claim a higher daily prize amount beyond the amount of 100,000 PKR. For example: If the winner has sent 20 or 100 messages throughout the day, he will enter the draw with one participation for 100,000 PKR, therefore the maximum amount he may receive is 100,000 PKR.
      • The second daily winner will be the Top Scorer of the day. The Top Scorer can also participate in lucky draw however he/she cannot win the both prizes on same day which means if a top scorer of the day is lucky winner of the day as well he/she will get either cash or gold whatever is higher in value. However the top scorer of the day can win through lucky draw on any other day but will not be able to win the similar prize (top performer prize in this case twice). Same rule applies to the lucky draw winners.
        • If the same verified customer gets selected to win via lucky draw and via Top scoring in the same day, then only one prize with the higher value among both prizes shall be awarded to the winner. After this, the remaining prize would be given to the next in line verified customer.
        • If a customer wins daily prize via lucky draw then he/she cannot win another daily prize via lucky draw throughout the campaign.
        • If a customer wins a daily prize via Top Scoring then he/she cannot win another daily prize via Top Scoring throughout the campaign.
        • If the same verified customer gets selected to win via lucky draw and via Top scoring in the same day for the Sunday Prize, then only one prize with the higher value among both prizes shall be awarded to the winner. After this, the remaining prize would be given to the next in line verified customer.
        • If a customer wins Sunday prize via lucky draw then he/she cannot win another Sunday prize via lucky draw throughout the campaign.
        • If a customer wins a Sunday prize via Top Scoring then he/she cannot win another Sunday prize via Top Scoring throughout the campaign.
        • In case if more than 1 winner have the same top scoring points on a daily & Sunday prize, then a lucky draw shall be held between them in order to declare the winner
      • The winners are notified by Mobilink via phone call to their subscriber number. The winners will receive notice within 10 calendar days from the date of the draw. The name and initials, or name of the organization, of the winners may be announced by newspaper ads or via SMS to all the participants included in the record.
    6. Sunday Prize:
      1. All participants who have sent at least 1 SMS on Sunday prize's draw, they are eligible to enter that day's draw. Each draw will determine 1 winner.
      2. The first Sunday's winner, who is determined every Sunday via a lucky draw as is described below, is eligible to win up to 200,000 PKR. Every SMS a participant sends, awards him a minimum of 10,000 PKR if the answer is correct and 5,000 PKR if the answer is incorrect/invalid. At the end of the day, if he is selected via draw, he will be awarded the equivalent amount to the number of correct and incorrect/invalid SMS he has sent during that day. For example: If the winner, who has been selected by the daily draw, has sent 20 or more SMS throughout that particular day, he/she will be awarded 200,000 PKR.
      3. Each participant is awarded with only one participation in Sunday's draw irrespective of the amount of SMS he has sent that day (provided he has sent at least one SMS during that day 23:59:59).
      4. Winners cannot claim in any case a higher daily prize amount beyond the amount of 200,000 PKR. For example: If the winner has sent 20 or 100 correct answers throughout the day, he will enter the draw with one participation for 200,000 PKR.
      5. The second Sunday's winner will be the Top Scorer of the day. The Top Scorers also participate in the draw for Sunday's prize however they cannot win both prizes; in case similar person wins both prizes he/she will get either Cash or Gold whatever is higher in Value. Although the top scorers can win daily lucky draw on any other day once but they won't be able to win two similar prizes more than once in the game.

    7. Monthly Prize:
      1. The monthly winner is determined after the end of each month of the Promotion via a draw. There will be two (2) monthly prizes: first  at the end of the 1st month of the Promotion on the 14th of December 2011 and second prize at the end of the 2nd month of the Promotion on the 13th of January 2012
      2. The record consists of entry sets corresponding to the total points, earned by each participant from the start of the Game and until the last day of each of the two (2) months of the Promotion. During the Game each point earned for the answers is assigned to a unique entry/raffle in the database of the participants. For example, 10 points received for the correct answer entitle the certain participant (MSISDN) to 10 entries; 20 points - to 20 entries/raffles for the drawing of the prize.
      3. The draw of the 1st monthly prize on the 14th of December 2011 will determine 1 winner that will win the prize of 3-day trip to Dubai (tickets for two persons) and 500,000 PKR. The tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If the winner does not wish to claim the tickets then he/she will only receive the 500,000 PKR in cash and the tickets shall be cancelled.
      4. The draw of the 2nd monthly prize on the 13th of January 2012 will determine 2 winners that will win 2 Scholarships of total PKR 500,000 each. The winner can nominate anyone for a scholarship for any school/college/university within Pakistan. If the winner does not nominate anyone, then an affidavit shall be required in order to get the prize in cash (PKR 500,000)

    8. Extra Prize
      1. The draw for the  EXTRA PRIZE shall be held on the 15th of February 2012 and will determine 1 winner who will win a Scholarship worth PKR 500,000.  The winner can nominate anyone for a scholarship for any school/college/university within Pakistan. If the winner does not nominate anyone, then an affidavit shall be required in order to get the prize in cash (PKR 500,000)

    9. Grand Prize:
      1. The grand winner is determined after the end of Promotion via a draw. The record consists of entry sets corresponding to the total points, earned by each participant from the start of the Game and until the last day of the Promotion. During the Game each point earned for the answers is assigned to a unique entry/raffle in the database of the participants. For example, 10 points received for the correct answer entitle the certain participant (MSISDN) to 10 entries; 20 points - to 20 entries/raffles for the drawing of the prize.   10. Terms of the prizes:
    1. Daily & weekly prizes will be delivered within 90 working days, monthly within 20 working days & grand prize within 1 month of the lucky draw.
    2. Preliminary registration of prizes will take place at Pakistan, Mobilink offices Monday to Friday from 10:00 till 17:00 within 10 working days upon completion of the promotional Game.
    3. The winner is liable for payment of due taxes and collections for the cash prizes under any relevant current legislation.
    4. The winners will be contacted by the Organizer. The winners must confirm in writing that they are the legal holder of the Mobilink connection and have that they are entitled to the prize and fill all the necessary documents given by the Organizer.  All winners must provide identification documents in order to receive the prize.  Prizes may be received by a representative of the winner by proxy upon written confirmation from the winner.
    5. By participating in the Game, the winners agree that any of their data, including names, surnames, photos and video images, can be used by Mobilink for advertising purposes with no prior consent of the winner and free of charge.
    6. The Organizer will select up to 10 runner-up winners for the grand prize and if the notified winner refuses the prize or fails to appear to collect it within 7 calendar days of notification, then the Organizer will contact one of the relevant runner-up winners that they have won the prize. If none of the runner-up winners accept the prize or do not show up with 10 calendar days of notification then the prize will remains the property of the Organizer of the Game.
    7. Decisions made by the Organizer will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable (except for 2nd Month's prizes)
    8. All GOLD prizes must be collected from Mobilink Customer Care Center, Blue Area, Islamabad. If the winner cannot travel to Islamabad for any reason, then the equivalent amount of Gold in cash (rate will be as per Market rate on the winning date) shall be sent to the winner's nearest Customer Care center.
  11. Limitation of liability
    1. The Organizer accepts no responsibility whatsoever for, including without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure when it is not under its direct control and execution.
    2. The Organizer reserves the right to whenever is deemed necessary temporarily suspend the Game for operational reasons (e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades). The Organizer promises to restore the Game as soon as possible after any temporary suspension period.
    3. The Organizer will deliver the prizes to the winners through winners' nearest Mobilink Customer Care Center.
    4. The Organizer advises participants to use caution and common sense when participating in the Promotional Game at all times.
  12. Disclaimer of warranties
    1. Participants understand and agree that they participate in this Game at their own risk and willingness and have not been coerced in any manner to enter the Game.
    2. The Organizer makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the Game will be uninterrupted and error-free. 
    3. Neither the Organizer nor any of its directors, employees, agents or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant participating in the promotion or as a result of accepting the prize. 
    4. The Organizer is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Game.
    5. By entering the Game, participants agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect and consequential losses) shall be asserted against the Organizer, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or user of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage.
  13. Data protection and Publicity
    1. Personal data related to voice, image, name or address and any other relevant information will be included in a filing system belonging to the Organizer as data controller, and can be used for taking part in the competition as well as publicity mailing, or other purposes relating to the Organizer's services, or services of other third companies that cooperate with the Organizer, unless otherwise indicated. The participants also consent that any profiling information given or any statistics that may be obtained through the Promotional Game regarding the profiling information can be used from the Organizer and third companies cooperating with the Organizer for reasonable purposes according to the local law.
    2. The Organizer will use such data in a confidential manner and participants could exercise the rights of access, rectification, delete and objection to prior consent for sending publicity through a written communication addressed to the Organizer, via e-mail to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it  or phoning the number 111 to contact the Organizer's call center.  
    3. Participants agree that if they win a prize then their full name and the last 4 digits of their CNIC will be published for informational purposes only.
  14. Governing Law
    1. In any case of disagreement arises participants can present their complaint to the Organizer and the issue will be decided in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.
