Mobilink Jazz’s latest offering, Jazz Apna Background Music Service allows you to add music or sound effects of your choice whilst talking on the phone. You can also select different music for different people and play special sounds.

Once the service is activated on your Jazz number you can dial 22, followed by the intended number for a BGM call.

How To Use Jazz Apna Background Music Service:

By dialing 5200, you can manage your Jazz Apna Background Music account by adding, deleting or changing the songs.

To activate the service:

SMS SUB to 5200

To de-activate:

SMS “UNSUB” to 5200

How to make a JAZZ APNA BACKGROUND MUSIC call

In order to initiate a Jazz Apna Background Music call please dial 22 followed by the required number E.g. 2203XX1234567

Main Menu (after subscription):

On dialing 5200 the customer can listen to the following and manage one’s BGM calls

Press 1 to download a song to your Playlist
Press 2 to manage your Playlist
Press 3 to manage rules of your Playlist
Press 4 to unsubscribe

Service Mechanics

Song Downloading/selection:

For Instrumental, Press 1
For Songs, Press 2
For Funny Voices, Press 3
For other sounds, Press 4
For Main Menu, Press 0

Manage Playlist

During the playback;
Press 1 to go to the previous song
Press 3 to go to the next song
Press 4 to delete song from your Playlist
Press 6 to add for the selected song
Press 0 for Main Menu

Rule Management:

Press 1 to add settings / preferences for a phone number
Press 2 to add or select back ground music for specific Date / Time
Press 3 to select the default option to play all songs of your Playlist
Press 4 to delete a specific setting of Jazz Background Music account
Press 0 for Main Menu

During Jazz Apna Background music calls

During Call, a subscriber can manage his/her Jazz Apna Background Music account,
Volume of Jazz Apna Background Music can be increased by pressing the 2 key.
Volume of Jazz Apna Background Music can be decreased by pressing the 8 key.
Pressing 5 key will mute the Jazz Background Music during the call.
Pressing 5 key again will un-mute the Jazz Background Music during the ongoing call.

SERVICE CHARGES:

• Daily subscription: Rs.0.5+t/day
• All peer-to-peer calls dialed with the prefix 22 will be charged for Rs. 2+tax per minute

• Service is available for prepaid users only
• Service is not available for International calls
• Subscribers on international roaming will not be able to use this service
• BGM Calls can be made for both on-net, off-net as well as landline numbers
