Customer can keep on requesting more programs until there are further programs available in the channel feeds.(Channels are divided into category of their kind, as mentioned in table below. e.g. all programs of a channel categorized into Drama category will appear in Drama category).

e.g. if he replies with Option 1 for GEO (@ Rs 10+tax for 30 days subscription)

• Prepaid Customer will be subscribed to the service with a Thanks sms.
• Post paid Customer will receive an SMS to confirm their subscription by replying with the channel ID and will receive a thanks SMS after confirmation.

11 AM every day, (depending on the availability of program feed) Customer will receive channel schedule for the day, till next 30 days. Subscription to each channel will cost him Rs 10+tax for next 30 days, for each channel.

To subscribe to program alerts, customer can reply with option 4 (@Rs 0.50+tax) to 717.
He will receive a list of all TV channels and he can respond with channel ID of his choice. (as given above in Option 1)
His response with selected channel ID will get him total programs available on that particular channel.
Customer can than select a program for program alerts.

e.g. if he replies with Option 5 for AAJ TV (@ Rs 0.5+tax) he will receive a list of programs for AAJ TV.

 Q: What is “Jazz TV Guide”?
A: Jazz TV Guide is an SMS based application that helps you check schedule of famous TV channels, browse programs by categories, subscribe to monthly channel alerts and subscribe to monthly program alerts.

Q: How can I use the service?
A: TV Guide services can be utilized by sending SMS “tv” to short code 717.

Q: What is validity of the subscription to Channel schedule or Program alert?
A: Subscription will be valid for next 30 days from the date of subscription.

Q: I am not receiving schedules for some channels after 12:00am midnight?
A: Program and channel schedules are dependant upon program feeds from the channels. Please refer to schedule availability table below for complete details on the availability of the schedule feed.

Q: Is this service compatible with my handset?
A: This is an SMS based service and is compatible with all Handset.

Q: I don’t see “M for more” option in SMS for TV channel schedule?
A: There are no more programs available in schedule feed provided by the channel that is why there is no more option with M for more.

Q: I did not receive repeat telecast alert after midnight?
A: All alerts are dependant upon program schedule provided by the TV channels. Some TV channels do not provide program schedules after mid night. We will not be able to send alert for this programs.

Q: How much will I be charged for this service?
A: subscriber can either check the channel schedule or browse the programs by category at Rs 0.50+tax per SMS. Subscriber can also subscribe to monthly channel or program alerts at Rs 10+tax per subscription.

Q: How will I receive schedule alerts?
A: In case of program alerts subscriber will get an SMS alert 1 hour before the program telecast and in case of channel alert subscriber will get 1 SMS per channel every morning at 11am.

Q: I don’t see my favorite program in the program list for program alert subscription?
A: TV guide is entirely dependent upon channel feeds provided by the TV channels. We can only list the programs which are available in schedule feed provided by the channel itself.

Q: Is this service available for post paid subscribers?
A: TV guide is available to both pre-paid and post-paid subscribers.

Q: How is my subscription renewed?
A: At the end of subscription period, post paid customer will get a renewal SMS. Replying with “Yes or Y” to the message will get him subscribed for next 30 days. Pre-paid customer’s subscription will be automatically renewed after 30 days. They will receive an SMS on renewal.

Q: How do I unsubscribe from the service?
A: Subscriber can send SMS “unsub” to 717 any time to unsubscribe from the service. Subscribe has to unsubscribe from each alert individually.

Customer will send “unsub” to 717 and will receive following message, which will list All of his subscriptions (@Rs0.5+tax)
