What is clickNshare?

clickNshare enables mobile users to share their photos and videos by:

  • Sending to any mobile in the world.
  • Sending to various online destinations – Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa, Blogger, Photobucket, Buzznet, Fotki.
  • Sending to any email address

How do I get clickNshare on my Phone?

  • Download the clickNshare application on your phone by sending “cns” to 744.
  • clickNshare application is available on around 250 GPRS enabled handsets.
  • Once downloaded, the application sends ACTIVATION SMS TO 745 [25Rs + Tax] to start clickNshare.

How do I know that my phone is supported or not?

On sending ‘cns’ to 744 you receive a link that you need to access. As you access the link, it will take you to the download page if your phone is supported. If not you will be informed accordingly.

Can I use clickNshare service from any Mobilink connection, be it pre-paid
or post-paid?

Yes, you can use clickNshare service from your Jazz as well as your Indigo connection.

What are the subscription charges?

For Rs.25+tax per month you can share unlimited photos and videos. No additional data charges apply for uploading content.

Do I need MMS or GPRS?

YES. You will need to have a GPRS enabled phone and GPRS activated for your mobile number. You can call 111 for details.

How do I know if my mobile phone is GPRS enabled or not?

When you send ‘cns’ to 744, you will receive a link in return. If you can access the link, it means that GPRS is enabled on your phone. If for some reason you are not able to access the link, please call 111 and ask for GPRS settings.

How do I subscribe to the service

  • Send CNS to 744 [Rs2+tax].
  • You will receive SMS with WAP link to download application.
  • Click on the WAP Link.
  • If your phone is supported you are shown the download link.
  • After the installer is downloaded, the installation starts.
  • Once the installation is complete, the application starts.
  • When the application starts – it sends ACTIVATION SMS to 745 [Rs. 25+tax].
  • When system receives ACTIVATION SMS, your account will be activated and you will be able to share your photos and videos – you are also sent a Confirmation SMS.

What happens after you get subscribed to 'clickNshare'?

Once you receive the SMS confirming your subscription you can start using the clickNshare application. Open the client and configure online portals: Facebook, Youtube, Picasa etc., or send pictures/videos to an email address or another mobile phone anywhere in the world.

How do I share my photos and videos after installing and activating?

Using the service is very simple.

If the user has Symbian device – he can just open the camera and take a photo or video.
The moment he shoots a photo/video – he gets a prompt to share the photo/video.

If the user has a JAVA device – he can go to ‘File Manager/Organizer’ -> Applications/Games -> clickNshare (It will be an icon)

I am trying to upload a photo it says “Sorry, due to network problem,
your photo upload was not completed. Please try again after sometime”?

Please make sure your GPRS is active
Check if correct access point is selected. Access point can be set on

  • Nokia(MIDP) :
    • Click on Settings
    • Click on Configuration and select Default configuration settings and select the right access point (Jazz users select Jazz Connect or Jazz WAP; Indigo Users select WAP or Connect)
  • Sony-Ericsson(K-series ) :
    • Click on Settings
    • Click on Connectivity and select Internet Settings
    • Click on Settings for java and select the right access point (Jazz users select Jazz Connect or Jazz WAP; Indigo Users select WAP or Connect)
  • Sony-Ericsson(W-series) :
    • Click on Settings
    • Click on Connectivity and select Internet Settings and select the right access point (Jazz users select Jazz Connect or Jazz WAP; Indigo Users select WAP or Connect)
  • Nokia(Symbian Devices):
    • Click on tools
    • Click on Settings and select Access point and then choose the right access point (Jazz users select Jazz Connect or Jazz WAP; Indigo Users select WAP or Connect)
  • Motorola :
    • Click on WebAccess
    • Click on Web Sessions and select the right access point (Jazz users select Jazz Connect or Jazz WAP; Indigo Users select WAP or Connect)
    • Click on Options and select Set as Default

How do I share the pictures in my gallery?

On Symbian phone you can go to Menu ->My Own and look for clickNshare app Icon.

On Java phone you can find it via the Organizer or ‘Applications’ folder as shown below.

 

Are there any other settings that I need to change before using clickNshare
from my Java Phone?

Yes, you have to ensure that following settings are done for JAVA phone handsets, before attempting to use clickNshare service. To know what is your mobile handset type (JAVA or Symbian) call 111 (Toll-free)

  • For JAVA phones change settings in below-mentioned to ‘Always Allowed’:
    • clickNshare > Options > App. Access >Communication > Network Access
    • clickNshare > Options > App. Access >Communication > Connectivity
    • clickNshare > Options > App. Access >Auto-start
    • clickNshare > Options > App. Access > Data Access > Add and edit data
    • clickNshare > Options > App. Access > Data Access > Read user data
     
     
     
 

Is there any limitation with file size?

No, clickNshare will allow uploading a file (image, video) of any size. Uploading time will be dependent on the file size.

How can I unsubscribe and deactivate the clickNshare service?

You can unsubscribe/deactivate the clickNshare service by sending a SMS with keyword ‘UNSUB’ to 744 (Rs2+tax).

Where can I get more Help if required?

You can request more Help for using the clickNshare service by sending SMS with keyword HELP to 744 (Rs2+tax).

How is my subscription renewed?

Three days before your subscription expires, you will be informed that your subscription will be renewed in three days. If you do not want to continue you can unsubscribe. When your subscription period of one month gets over, the clickNshare system checks for the pre-paid balance in your Mobile Account and on receipt of subscription fee extends subscription for a period of one month. If you do not have sufficient credit, you will be asked to Top Up your account and renew your subscription.

If you are an Indigo customer, then you will be informed about expiry and will be asked to renew your subscription.
