Mobilink has always been the market leader when it comes to introducing state-of-the-art communication services and solutions. For the first time in Pakistan, Mobilink is pleased to introduce the ‘Conference Bridge’ Service for both postpaid and prepaid users. This service is ideal for reducing set up and gathering time for meetings as it brings geographically scattered workforce together in a conference without any hassle.
Conference Bridge allows organizers to schedule conference calls with up to 25 on net and off net users. Subscribers of this service can also use the web conferencing features like presentation and document sharing during the conference call. As the organizers sets up a conference call, all participants are informed about the date, time and dial in number & access code through an E-mail. Participants simply have to dial in at the time of the conference call to join in while on the go!

Service Mechanics
Subscription:
- Customers can subscribe for this service by sending the following message to the short code 3300.

abc123 - The customer would then receive a confirmation SMS with the link to the web interface : http://conference.mobilinkworld.com/
Call Setup:
- The subscriber can access the above links and log in to the Conference Bridge web interface by entering the user name (email address) and password specified in the subscription message.
- Once the subscriber has logged in he/she can schedule conference calls via the ‘Schedule a Conference Call’ tab.
- In order to schedule a conference call the organizer will have to specify the following;
- Date and Time of the conference call
- Planned number of attendees
- Planned duration of the meeting
- Attendees’ details (email address and MSISDNS )
- Level of security desired for the meeting (optional)
- Once the organizer has entered the above details , the invitees for this call will receive an email with the following details :
- Date, Time and Duration of the Conference Call
- Dial in numbers and access codes
- Link to the Conference Bridge web interface
- Dial in number for on net users will be 3300
- Dial in number for off net users will be +923002229999
Voice and Web Conferencing: - At the time of the conference call users can dial into the Conference Bridge and subscribers of this service can log on the web interface
- Users can add other subscribers through ‘Add a contact’ tab. In order to add a contact the user will have to specify name of the user in the ‘search’ option.
- Invitees who are subscribers of this service can use the web conferencing features during the conference call :
- Chat with the other online attendees
- Share presentations, word & excel documents
- Make presentations; through this features users can view (and not download) the presentation.
Service Features
- Conference Bridge Service is available for both prepaid and postpaid users
- The Conference Bridge Service provides both voice and web conferencing features
- Subscribers can share power point presentations , word & excel documents and chat through the web interface during the call
- Conference Bridge can facilitate up to 25 callers ; Both on net and Off net users can dial in to the Conference Bridge
- The Bridge will remind the users when the last 5 minutes of the call are remaining, the organizer can extend the call for 15 more minutes if there is capacity on the Conference Bridge
- Subscribers can continue using the web interface once the conference call duration has expired
- The conference leaders have more controlling rights , like putting certain participants on mute during the conference call
- The web interface facility is only for Mobilink users
Why subscribe for this service - This service is very useful because unlike video conferencing there is no requirement of conference rooms or to physically gather people at a particular location. One can be in the conference even if he/she is on the go.
- This service offers web conferencing facilities where the participants can view/share presentations and documents. Such facility is not offered on regular conference calls.
- By paying a very nominal monthly subscription fee pre-paid customers can also avail this service.
